Gavin Howell and David Pinckney the overall race winners at week 7 of the Ron Day Milton Keynes Bowl Series

BMCR Result: The Ron Day MK Bowl Series – Race 7 — (from the organiser) Huge huge thanks to the riders tonight for your help and your patience. It was very appreciated. With enough helpers, we ran the race outside the gates from the gun tonight starting on the green (my favourite circuit). A good turn out of riders was great to see. Thank you for supporting.

The A/B/C/D race was fast with the first lap averaging 30mph (so I am told). Gavin Howell rode away from the bunch part way through with Bobby McGlue to stay away with Gav taking the win. The bunch sprint was won by Lewis King just ahead of Michael DArcy. The E/F/G/H race mainly stayed together until the last few laps. The bunch sprint being won by David Pinckney from Dean Sibthorpe with Keith Snook winning the bunch sprint of the second group.

Congratulations to all our winners. Huge thank you to all the helpers tonight and to all the riders who helped set up the course before the event too. It was definitely a go home for a glass of wine night. No racing now for 3 weeks as the circuit is being used for a concert.
