The first race was an Open 3/4 race with a good field of 28 despite the dreich weather. A slightly damp, greasy track but good racing. A well-timed break by 5 riders with 10 laps to go set them up to contest the sprint, with Michael clearly enjoying the win.

The 2nd race was Cat 2, 3 & 4 and was well contested throughout. Breaks kept going off, but only lasting a few laps. The race finished in a bunch sprint, with Tom Ashcroft putting in a great sprint to finish clear.
