EVENT REPORT:
KCA’s Annual Team Time Trial with a secondary solo event for riders who didn’t want to team up. This course was run on the Q25/3 course details below: Hamstreet – Brenzett – Cloverleaf – Brenzett – Johnsons Corner

START Hamstreet towards the A2070 (Johnson’s Corner) proceeding to Johnsons Corner to join and turn left towards Brenzett RAB. TURN at the Brenzett RAB and retrace northwards on the A2070, straight over Bridgefield RAB to TURN at Cloverleaf RAB retracing southwards on A2070, to Brenzett RAB. TURN at the Brenzett RAB(M) for the second time and retrace northwards on the A2070. FINISH approx. 0.37 miles south of Johnsons Corner on the A2070.

It was excellent sunny weather with the temperature around 20C for the first riders starting rises to 24C by the time the last riders finished. There was a gentle north westerly breeze which made for a slightly slower leg to Cloverleaf RAB at the Ashford end of the course. Very high pressure was the only thing riders needed to contend with.

The primary results of the team time trail were as follows:

— 2-UP 1st Thanet RC – Chris Fennell & Nic Fennell – 50:49; 2nd Ashford Whs – Owen Fletcher & Liam Fletcher – 56:23; 3rd Ashford Whs – Andy Robinson & Mick Claydon – 59:18
