E/F/G/H/I OVERALL RACE RESULT
In the first of a series of three ” Last of the Summer Wine” races 19 riders started. Several attacks but nothing succeeding until at half distance when a group of six riders broke away from the rest and went on to lap the field. They contest a messy finish as they had a problem getting around the A/B/C/D race that still had 6 laps to go. Chris Edwards (Kingsnorth International) taking the win.

A/B/C/D OVERALL RACE RESULT
Not a bad turn out for the first race in this series with 33 riders taking the start line. With the first lap completed a group of four riders had broken away from the main field, none other than Antony Wallis (Ciclos Uno) Jason Fitchew (Ford CC) Barry Neal (Ciclos Uno) and David Farrow (Eagle RC) these four riders went on to lap the field, then with 6 laps to go Antony Wallis (Ciclos Uno) dropped his breakaway companions to finish on his own 26 sec in front of a fast moving bunch which had swallowed up the rest of the break although still a lap up.
