A great night again for Leicester Forest Rockets winning the U8 and U10 girls races, Megan Cherry and Bethany Richards extending their overall league leads. Libby Bell narrowly missed making it a clan sweep for the Rockets of the younger age groups when she was beaten by Fay Garner in the U12 girls race.

In the U14 race, Lotta Mansfield got he better of Amelie Wayte in a head to head sprint and Maddie Hubner tookk the U16 girls race.

In the team league, only 5 points separated the top 3 teams on the night, The MI Racing Academy extending their lead slightly over Welland Valley CC and Leicester Forest Rockets consolidating 3rd place

BOYS
With his 3rd win in as many weeks, Ed Woodward extended his lead in the U14 boys league, although teammate and long-time leader of the U16 league, George Evans, was knocked off top spot by the slenderest of margins by James Alexander, who finished 3rd in the U16 boys race behind Finn Mansfield and Louis Perry.

U12 league leader Rory Knowles extended his league with another clear sprint victory and Ethan McCloy finally turned the tables on Alex Burden to take his first win of the Mallory season in the U10 race. Normal service was resumed in the U8 race, with George Cooper scoring his 8th Mallory win of the season.

A special thanks to tonight’s Commissaire, Bob Mitchell, who travelled over from Cambridge at short notice after BC East Midlands notified us on Saturday that tonight’s race would be cancelled because they could not provide Commissaires.
