This Weekend: CAMS GRAND PRIX

The Women’s CAMS Grand Prix at the Redbridge Cycling Centre (NE London) promises to be a circuit race with a difference with an unprecedented 45 laps of Hog Hill that surely won’t end in a bunch sprint.

The race has attracted a top class field including World Tour rider Leah Dixon (Tibco-Silicon Valley Bank) and winners of last week’s races Lucy Lee (Team LDN-Brother UK) and Flora Perkins (VC Londres). Riders from Belgium team Josie Nelson and Emily Knight (Isorex No Aqua ladies cycling team) are also down to ride. Promoting team, UCI team CAMS-BASSO, will be hoping that seasoned European pro Natalie Grinzer can convert her TT form into road racing, after winning two TT events already this year. European Games bronze medalist and multi national record holder and champion, Hayley Simmonds also represents CAMS BASSO.
