EVENTS: Racing Club Omega dates for 2023 at Portsmouth’s Mountbatten Centre Cycle Track

Running from March to September, there will be again be a mixture of Circuit Days running for all categories during the day and half & half days which will consist of circuit races for seniors in the morning, with track racing in the afternoon for all senior and youth categories. There is also a round of the BC National Hard Track Endurance Series during the Easter track Meeting and the first outdoor round of the BC National Youth Omnium Series for 2023. Included in this special year there will be road & track racing on King Charles’ Coronation Day in May.

With separate category racing for the circuits, including National B status, the organisers hope to encourage new visitors to the Portsmouth Cycling Scene. The popular evening circuit series will also continue during 2023. The 23 week series will start again on Wednesday, 29th March for four weeks before switching to alternate Friday and Wednesdays, ending the season with the prize presentation after the shortened race programme on Wednesday 6th September.
