Result: a3crg Tour of the Lod Valley

Chris McNamara is fastest in the a3crg Tour of the Lod Valley time trial over 23 miles on Sunday, 6th October, (P875a) 23 Miles

Note: Next year in the spring the organisers will be using a different course which they don’t think has been used before and is possibly even hillier! The intended course will start in Midhurst, go out over Goodwood (Up the Trundle), turn left at the race course, out to the Benges, turn left down through Upwaltham, to Duncton, along to Petworth and then back to Midhurst along the A272. Oddly enough this circuit is also about 23 miles, and it will be open to teams of two as well as solos.

Next October there will be a 25 mile TT in place of this event to see if this attracts a bigger field. The Tour of the Lod Valley will return at some point. …a3crg will also be running other TT’s next year which are being finalized but will be in the handbook and on the CTT website calendar when it’s ready.
