Race Report A/B/C/D
Fifty two riders started in this event and after only three laps, had past a group of eight riders breaking away. After a few more laps, this was reduced to four. Bob Downs (Rapha Condor), Anthony Wallis (Ciclos Uno), Roger Maidment & Wayne Crombie both from (E.L.V.) went on to lap the field.

They then went on to lap all but six riders for a second time. Bob Downs lead out the sprint with Anthony Wallis on his wheel but Bob was too strong and took the win by a coulpe of lenghts.

The day was cold and cloudy, and a field of 20 riders started and 20 finished. The race was fast with many riders trying to break away but to no avail, only 4 riders were dropped towards the end and it finished in a bunch sprint with a long awaited win for Chris Edwards.
