In VeloUK’s visit to Dolan Bikes last week, one of the brand new products on show was the Navigator Five Spoke tubular track front wheel.
Weighing just 940 grams and priced at £549.99, the wheel is for use with tubulars and one of two being developed by Dolan Bikes. A rear five spoke is still in development and testing.
Built to UCI spec, the full carbon wheel with sealed bearings is available with or with decals and when combined with a Navigator Rear disc, is half the price of a pair of Mavic wheels. Note: Dolan Bikes also have the five spoke for clinchers.
