Round 1 set to be special star-studded event inc. Ed Clancy, Owain Doull, Laura Trott and Jason Kenny

This Weekend: Revolution Series Kicks Off
September 17 in Manchester marks the start of the 2016 Revolution Series, the first round of the UK Championship will host an Olympic homecoming for our Team GB, track cycling champions.
The most decorated Olympic couple ever, Laura Trott and Jason Kenny will be making a special appearance at the event. The couple will be signing autographs for fans at a signing session during the evening and providing their expert cycling knowledge, commentating on the racing at certain points across the race schedule.
Alongside the special appearances, there will Olympic Gold-medallists competing at the event for the first time on the track since their success in Rio, including, Ed Clancy, Owain Doull, Katie Archibald and Elinor Barker.
Clancy and Doull will be trying to help their team qualify for the new Revolution Champions League, where the best track teams will go head to head with the world’s best road teams to find the ultimate cycling champions. Archibald and Barker will both be competing in the brand new Elite Women’s Championship, which will be taking place across the Revolution UK Championship and the Champions League.
