Entries are needed for the first two rounds of the West Midlands Road Race League, the Halesowen Academy road race on March 20, and the Hell of the North Runway event at Cosford on Easter Sunday April 17.

The Cosford circuit, a 3.5 mile traffic free course using the airfield runway and service roads, will host a 2/3/4 men’s race which is round two of the WMRRL, an E123 women’s event which is the second round of the West Midlands Women’s Road Race Series, as well as races for under-16 boys and girls.

“In 2021, we used this course successfully for the first time in recent years,” said organiser John Ireson, “so it’s great to have it back again.” The races will be shorter than in 2021, and riders are reminded that entries will close earlier than for most circuit races due to security needs around the RAF airbase.
