Cyclingmasters are pleased to announce a massive increase in entries for this year’s UCI MastersTrack Cycling World Championships due to be held at the Manchester Velodrome from Saturday October 1st to Saturday October 8th.
A total of 550 entries have been received from 31 countries making this the biggest ever entry for this important and exciting event in the international track racing calendar.
The winners in each category, for both men and women, of each discpline will be awarded UCI Rainbow Jerseys and UCI 1st, 2nd and 3rd Championship Medals all now in a special masters design.
Categories are in 5 year age groups from 35 years upwards with five individual events of Time Trial, Sprint, Pursuit, Scratch and Points Races plus Team Sprint and Team Pursuit
The championships will close with the 10 mile Brian Cossavella Memorial Scratch Race, always a great one to watch
The final schedule and a list of competitors entered is now on the event web site www.cyclingmasters.com Spectator tickets can be pre-ordered on this site and can also be bought at the National Cycling Centre Reception. These are priced at just £8 (£5 concessions) for day tickets or £40 (£25 concessions) for all sessions during the week
Tickets will also be available at reception during the days of the championships
