Barnsley Crit is Back !

Friday 28th July 2017 sees the return of the Barnsley Town Centre Races, which comprises of U12, U14, U16 races plus a regional B, Womens and Mens elite races. This course played host to the 2015 National Circuit Race championships, with eventual victors Ian Bibby and Nicola Juniper taking the Jerseys.

Prize fund for the famed Barnsley Crit is £6500, with equal prize funding for both Mens and Womens races (£2100 each and £400 top prize). The event really focuses on the promise in the UK, particularly as we enter the summer break with 3 youth races, from under 12 through to under 16. It also includes a community ride, welcoming youth groups, school children, friends and families to ride the course to be later competed into the late evening on, by the pros.

The event will be closing for entries on Wednesday 26th July 2017, with “no entry on the line” allowed. For further details go to
