Rob Ward (VC St Raphael) won today’s 10.2 mile Hilly Time Trial promoted by Andover Wheelers held on the 601 course adjacent to the village of Vernham Deane on the Hampshire border. After the morning’s rain the course had dried by the early afternoon start.
Rob was 28secs quicker than second place Simon Healey (Andover Wheelers) and third was junior rider Mitchell Webber (Primera Sport) a further 3secs back. Mitchell also took the prize for the quickest up Conholt Hill.
