It was a small but quality field that contested the E/1/2 race at The Edge Cycleworks Salt Ayre Series week 14. The action started immediately with Julian Pearson (Spirit Bikes) and John Agnew (BC PM) away in the opening laps. They were then replaced by Steve Abbott (Team Hoppers Rollers), Sam Dobson (Green Jersey RT), Andy Markham (Lune RCC) and Alex Foster (Border City Whls) until this too was pulled back and it was “gruppo compato” for a while but not for long with Dillon Byrne (Champion System) and Alex Luhrs (PH-MAS) jumping away and Jack Pullar (Starley Primal) bridging to them with Alex Foster (Border City Whls).

This group stuck and build up almost a full lap lead as the bunch lost interest and the 4 sprinted it out for the win with Jack Pullar taking it from Dillon Byrne. Meanwhile John Agnew took off alone for 5th and Julian Pearson won the bunch sprint for 6th.

In the support race all 30 starters finished together in a big bunch sprint won for the 2nd week in a row by local youth rider Adam Hall (Salt Ayre Cog Set) whilst Eve Dixon (Team 22) continued her dominance of the Total Cycle Coach womens event.
