News – Velofait Inaugural Cycle Race

Sunday 22 March 2015 | South of England Showground, Ardingly, West Sussex
Velofait are delighted to host the inaugural Velofait Cycle Race which will be held on Sunday 22 March. This closed road race will be the first time that the South of England Showground in Ardingly, Sussex will have been used for such an event.

Set in 150 acres, wide roadways and a 1.4km circuit make this an ideal venue for a closed road race. The addition of close major transport links means that you’ll be able to concentrate fully on your race, not getting there!

Races
There will be 3 separate races at the event:

Mens 4th Category
Womens 4, 3, 2 Category
Mens 2/3 Category

Each race is 70 minutes plus 5 laps. There will be spot prizes and team trophies. U23 trophies will also be awarded.

Tim Leary of Velofait said “We’ve been working closely with event partners including BlackCatCycleCoaching.com and Screen Plus to help make this a great inaugural event.”
