Challenging weather greeted the riders for the annual Team Axiom Weekender timetrials on the 11-12th June 2011 for a 10mTT on the P881 course and then a 25mTTÂ on the P885 course
Challenging weather greeted the riders for the annual Team Axiom Weekender timetrials. Luck rode out on Saturday as the passing showers neatly avoided the course to allow all riders a dry (if windy ride). Allan Ridler (Team Cycle Kingdom) bested the local fastmen to take a victory under angry skies. The Sunday morning 25m TT on the fast P885 was not so fortunate as the rain arrived for the later starters in addition to a rising wind. Gabriel Martinez (VC Muedon) claimed a narrow victory with 33 seconds covering the top 5 riders.
