Report-Results: Forest Town Track League (Wk 1)

The first round of the 2012 Forest Town Track League took place on a cold, overcast evening on Monday night but as the rain held off, there was time for plenty of racing

After some hard work by the club volunteers, the Mansfield Track at the Forest Town Sports Ground looked at its best with a newly painted datum line. The hard work paid off as the first evening saw a record number of entries for the opening evening in the seniors, free-wheelers and the Youth with a total of 45 entries. During the evening there was some exciting racing with last years senior champion, Ben Green taking on the rest to start his 2012 campaign while two of the youngest riders, aged 6 and 7 years raced in the frewheelers competition.
