The Cheltenham and County Road Race returns this Sunday (13th July) as round four of the Cotswold Cycle Racing League.

A full field will complete 5 laps of a challenging 12 mile circuit near Bourton on the Water, which completes with a 2.5km to the finish line. Grant Bayton, winner of the previous two rounds, is on the start list though is said to be riding for his Ride 24/7 team mates this weekend.

This leaves the race wide open. Michael Cripps (Army Cycling Union), Christopher Morrison (Cadence Cycle Performance) and Steve Fidler (Dave Hinde Racing Team) have all shown good form this season. Craig Wallduck has featured strongly in the Cotswold league this year and will be competing for the win.

However, the crowd will be cheering for local rider Richard Cleaver (LeisureLakesBikes.com), the housewives’ favourite who missed the wind by a fraction last year
