The Cheshire Classic Women’s Road Race announces a major new sponsorship from Advanced Medical Solutions Group

New sponsor supports Women’s Cheshire Classic

Advanced Medical Solutions Group, the surgical and advanced woundcare specialist company, will be a headline sponsor and join existing sponsors Delamere Dairy, Taylor Wimpey, Wates Construction, Roberts Bakery and Your Sports Therapist.

Commenting on the sponsorship, race organiser Andy Wood said: “I am thrilled to have Advanced Medical Solutions Group on board; it demonstrates the quality of the race when we have industry leading companies like AMS, which employs more than 472 employees and sells products in over 70 countries, approaching us to sponsor the race. I really liked their approach to the race and I can confirm that it will be a headline sponsor of the Team Prize competition.”

This year’s Cheshire Classic takes place in Northwich on Sunday 26th April with the UK’s very best riders expected to take part. A full rider line-up and confirmed prize fund is due to be confirmed at the start of April.

Last year’s race saw Commonwealth Gold medallist Katie Archibald take the honours, having ridden away from the peloton on the final lap of the race putting herself amongst previous winners such as Dame Sarah Storey, Lizzie Armitstead and Nicole Cooke.
