News that long time organiser Stuart Benstead is recovering from surgery and Colin Docker has stepped into help with Condor 3 Day

News – Condor 3 Day

CONDOR 3 DAY race 2/3/4 May
From Colin … Stuart Benstead, organiser of the Condor 3 day May 2/3/4, is at present in hospital after having emergency treatment for heart problems. He is recovering well but will be unable to continue as organiser in the fullest sense.

I have agreed to help out from now until post-event. Any queries should be directed to me ONLY via a mobile number, 07766 765 552, leaving a brief clear message and a call back number. I will endeavour to reply on Stuart’s behalf as a query is resolved.

PLEASE DO NOT CALL STUART
This is very short notice (isn’t this always the way with illness) and there is a lot of catching up to do, so please be patient.

I will NOT be responding to Facebook messages or emails on this subject, of the event, the purpose being simply to keep a single channel of communication working.

Lastly, I am sure everyone in the sport who knows Stuart, and his wife Peta, will want to join me in wishing him a full and swift recovery. He has given a lifetime to the sport, and we can repay a little by giving him a superb long weekend’s racing in a couple of weeks. If we all do our bit I’m sure things will work through well. the main ingredient is PATIENCE.
