News – Battle of the Bowl May 30th

Spirit Bikes are proud to announce they will be promoting the inaugural Battle of the Bowl circuit races on May 30th. The event, to be held at the Milton Keynes Bowl, will see a National B elite mens race, a women’s race, 3/4 Support race and a whole programme of youth races.

The points on offer from the National B status should see top teams from the area descend on the usual stomping ground of the Spirit Bikes Race Team and Corley Cycles-Drops Race Team who go toe to toe on the circuit most weeks. Last Thursday saw the first of the evening summer series with both teams having to settle for podium spots, first blood going to Liam Stones of Raleigh-GAC. However with the race nestled between the Barrow and Croyden rounds of the Tour Series the Elite Teams are likely to be busy.

Alongside the races there will be stands to check out the latest gear on offer from Spirit Bikes and their sponsors. And wherever there is good racing, there will always be good coffee. Hot food will also be available throughout the day.
