Local companies ‘race in’ to support Primera-TeamJobs race team

Team News – Primera-TeamJobs
Tower Park-based motor dealership Breeze Volkswagen and local recruitment business TeamJobs have signed a one-year sponsorship deal with the Primera-TeamJobs race team. This exciting collaboration between key local businesses is great for cycling locally and shows the importance business is now giving to this growing sport.
The team was officially launched at the Italian Villa, Compton Acres on Wednesday March 16, with TeamJobs as the main sponsor of the 18-strong Primera-TeamJobs race team during the 2016 season. The team will participate in road racing, time trials, mountain biking and BMX racing as well as triathlons at a regional and national level. The team have already had some great results including two wins at Westpoint Crits in the E/1/2 and 3/4 categories.
Jason Gault, managing director at TeamJobs, says: “TeamJobs are thrilled to be working with such a great team and promoting cycling and youth development in Dorset. We are passionate about sport being a key development tool for preparing young people for life as we find so many young people struggle into the outside world from school without many of the key skills sport teaches teamwork, confidence, banter, how to win, dealing with failure, self-discipline and how to interact and engage with others. We have a great team and we are confident 2016 will bring many great results and fun for all involved.â€
The partnership between Breeze Volkswagen and Primera-TeamJobs reinforces the message that Volkswagen’s vehicle portfolio, including commercial vehicles, are ideal for sports enthusiasts as they have the ability to accommodate an array of equipment such as bikes, wind and kite surf kit.
Mark Langford, brand manager at Breeze Volkswagen, says: “We’re delighted to support the Primera-TeamJobs race team in the 2016 season. Our lifestyle vehicles such as the Transporter and Caravelle and our larger passenger cars such as the Golf Estate and Tiguan are incredibly popular with cyclists and others who love an active, outdoor life. Many of the Breeze Volkswagen team are also keen cyclists and frequent Primera customers so we’re delighted to build on our existing relationship and support young talent at the same time.â€
Ross Copsey of Primera adds: “It’s a confidence boost for our riders knowing that we have high profile local companies believing in their skill and I’m sure we will deliver some great results.â€
