GIRLS RACE

Megan Cherry, Amelia Southall and April Tacey maintain their 100% records, once again the outstanding ride of the night coming from Amelia Southall, bridging the gap up to the boys race and sprinting with them. Closest race of the night was the U14 girls, won by Amelie Wayte, 3 girls sprinting every lap with very little difference between them.
Well done to everyone who turned out tonight, our biggest field of the year on a night the weather forecast was predicting snow!

BOYS RACE

On an evening when the Met Office was forecasting snow, 98 riders turned out! And we almost got away with it, until the snow appeared halfway through the U14/16 race giving some epic racing in epic weather conditions. Everyone there tonight deserves a special mention! George Cooper and Jude Du Toit continue to dominate the U8 and U10 leagues, some strong sprinting from Rory Knowles in the U12 race saw him win and take the leaders jersey in the closest of the boys leagues. Josh Giddings won the U14 race after a race long break with team-mate Ed Woodward and George Evans, scoring points in every sprint, won the U16 race to extend his overall league lead. In the Jewson Team League, a very strong night for The MI Racing Academy sees them take a 12 point lead
