A Welsh team from Gruff Lewis called the Caffi Gruff Race Team will be on the roads in 2020

News: Caffi Gruff Race Team

The team is made up of Welsh riders known to team owner owner Gruff Lewis, a group of riders that all carry a love for cycling.

Gruff writes “In 2016 when I was a full time professional, I decided to coach riders in my spare time and this has progressed to a large part of my livelihood. Racing cyclists often want to progress, meaning moving to a team where they can be seen shining. You could say that these opportunities have been hard to come by in the area of Aberystwyth”.

“Even though the small town has seen three riders progress through to the professional ranks recently (Dafydd Dylan, Gruffudd Lewis & Stevie Williams), this has been down to local support, good parents and determination. Not so much a development programme that can be used as a channel to the broader British scene.”

“I had a good handful of riders that I was coaching seeking to be part of something a bit more structured, that would have like minded individuals there to help each other in their journeys to fulfillness. I knew, I could help, I knew I had a key that could unlock their potential, and more than that, keep them believing”.

“That “keep believing” is a moto we have #CADWIGREDU that can be seen on all riders jerseys. They are a great bunch of honest, hard working lads, that we simply want to create great memories together.”
