Winner of the 40th Jock Wadley Memorial Road Race near Colchester on Sunday (March 10) was Jacob Vaughan who was in the break most of the race, was caught and then attacked and stayed clear!

What a ride by Jacob Vaughan to win the Jock Wadley. A break of three went away and that was then replaced by a new breakaway including Jacob Vaughan. That stayed away until two laps to go when the attacking in the front group kicked off and after Damien Clayton went clear, Jacob Vaughan countered and blasted past Damien too quick for him to get Jacob’s wheel. Jacob then held on to win by a handful of seconds from Junior CiCLE Winner last year Ben Marsh and Oliver Hucks in third.
