In an exciting race with an early break where riders got across to it and whilst a few were dropped, the top 3 were in the very first break and it was a well-deserved win by William Gilbank, attacking on the descent about 3km from the finish and holding a slender 7 seconds to the line. It was a very windy day with a few scrawly showers making for a good race. A big shout out to the Bath Road for this was the 24th year of promotion
