The BMCR National Road Race Championships for C and D category riders at Swynnerton

WHEN: 10am Sunday 10th September 2023.

The British Masters Cycle Racing National Road Race Championships for category C and D riders being held this Sunday organised by ProVision RT, friends and supporters under the rules of the of Under the Rules and Regulations of British Master Cycle Racing

Race HQ Location: Cotes Heath Village Hall, Station Road, Staffordshire. ST21 6RU
HQ opens 8:30 am for signing on.

Race 1 for C category starts 10:00am promptly. 5.5 laps which is 59 miles
Race 2 for D category starts 10:05 am promptly 5.5 laps which is 59 miles

The two full fields of the countries top 50 to 59 year old masters include several names from 80s, 90s and early noughties. The races cover 5.5 loops of the 11 mile Swynnerton circuit in Staffordshire with the finish line just south of the village of Swynnerton. The circuit is fast yet demanding. It includes the climb through Swynnerton Village and beyond to the old water tower. Not super steep but long and very taxing after 5 ascents.
