The first day of competition at the World Masters Track Cycling Championships took place on Saturday when 12  world titles were awarded with Great Britain nation the winner of most Santini rainbows

DAY 1, Saturday, September 30


SUMMARY
Day 1 of the 2023 UCI World Masters Track Cycling Championships at Britain’s National Cycling Centre in Manchester kicked off on Saturday afternoon with Time Trials, Pursuits, Team Sprint and Scratch races on the velodrome and in all, there were 12 World Titles decided for both men and women in the many age categories. The most successful nation on the night was Great Britain with seven Gold medals with the other five Gold medals won by five different nations (Australia, Norway, Japan, USA & New Zealand). A list of the podium results from the finals is below.
