Yorkshire Professional Cycling, who managed HARIBO Beacon Cycling Team in 2014 have today announced Polypipe as their Principle Partner for 2015.

Polypipe, based in Doncaster, Yorkshire, are the UK’s leading manufacturer of above and below ground drainage, plastic plumbing and underfloor heating solutions. Glen Sabin, Managing Director of Polypipe UK commented “We are excited to be working with Yorkshire Pro Cycling and are looking forward to helping them achieve their goals”.

“The team share a number of our beliefs and, like us, have a proven track record of identifying and developing talent. We are proud to be associated with a local team who are entering there a new cycle of rider development after six riders from 2014 have progressed onto full time contracts.”

Newly appointed Directeur Sportif, Dean Downing added “It is exciting to be working with a locally based, global brand. It’s no secret that I’m excited to work with a new group of riders in the team during my first year as Directeur Sportif and to align with Polypipe in a long-term project will help take the team from strength to strength.”

Olympic Gold Medalist, Steven Burke, will lead she team in its first outing this weekend in London at the Revolution Series. The teams full 2015 line up will be announced during November.
