Madison Genesis are pleased to reveal that the team will be riding the latest edition of the carbon Zero frame from Genesis at the Tour of Britain.

News: Genesis launches new Zero frameÂ
Whilst the frame is visually identical to last years’ model, Genesis have employed a higher grade 30/40-ton high-modulus uni-directional carbon to drop approximately 120 grams from last years’ model.
This means that the bike is now comfortably sub-1kg for a size medium with all hardware (960g). The forks on the frame however have vastly slimmed-down, tapered fork legs with a truncated aero profile to drop weight down by 90 grams and improve comfort.
Phil Hammill, Genesis Brand Director, said: “We have made a succession of small changes to the frame this year that we are really happy with and we believe will make a big difference to the guys on the road.
With such a dramatic new model last year, it was a case of building on that success and making the Zero even better, whilst also building an affordable bike. It is great to announce the bike to the world at this year’s Tour of Britain in arguably its biggest year and we can’t wait to see how the team get on.â€
Genesis prides itself on making quality, British-designed bikes and have invested heavily in its own moulds to ensure Zero meets high design standards by having complete control from design, through testing and ultimately throughout the manufacturing process. Zero also comes with a lifetime warranty and will be available from October 2015.
The team will complete the new Zero Z.i bike builds using Shimano’s flagship Dura-Ace Di2 groupset and a complete finishing kit from PRO, specifically the top of the range carbon Vibe components. This will include saddles, handlebars, stems and Di2 compatible seatposts.
