In Scotland, Phil Kelman retained the Ian Brody Memorial Trophy and Robby Walton took the new Youth Cup donated by Moyra Brodie.
After heavy rain and flooding on the South Deeside road the clouds had cleared by 5am and most of the surface water had dried by start time at 9am to leave a clear sky, reasonably warm conditions and little wind which made for some fast times for the course. By mid afternoon the heavy rain was back so we were very lucky to run the event in good conditions.
