Jack Green of VC St Raphael wins the Westmead Team ’88’ Evening 10 on June 6

A stormy day in Manchester led to a much reduced field of 26 riders facing the timekeeper. Half the field rode in dry conditions and the latter half rode in a torrential down poor, although there was no real wind to speak of.
Fastest of the night was local, ex promoting club member, Jack Green from VC St Raphael with 21m20s, 2nd place for another local, Mike Cummings from Rapha Condor, riding ‘athlete’ style with no aero equipment.
The 6 club members needed to staff the event were far wetter than any of the riders after their duties marshalling the course so thanks and well done to them!
