Walking to the HQ at the Clatyon Velo Spring Classic, it was impossible to walk past this Dedacciai Scuro RS and not stop for a closer look!

The Campagnolo equipped bike was ridden by Jack Sadler for his sponsor Vanillabikes.com and the junior spent three quarters of the race out front before the elites he had been joined by, upped the pace and the distance took the toll.

Kevin from VanillaBikes.com explained a bit about the bike saying “as Jack (pictured above) needs junior gears and you can’t just screw the block in, we thought a lot about the best way to give Jack a great race bike. We used the Dedacciai Scuro RS limited edition frame & forks as a base for the bike, a 950g frame but plenty stiff enough for a sprinter like Jack.”

The 35mm Deda oversize bars and stem give a sprinter friendly stiff cockpit, wrapped in Lizardskin bartape.
Race wheels are Miche 558 Supertype Carbon tubulars shod with Classic Vittoria Evo CX tubs. A really fast and stiff pair of wheels.
Training wheels Campagnolo Zonda alloy clinchers wheels again with a 14 -23 cassette.
Kevin adds “Jack and the bike will make a winning combination in 2013. We know how much effort and work Jack puts into his training and preparation, we wanted to give him a bike capable of doing him justice”.
