Despite Quibell Park looking more like a building site at the moment around the track the organisers managed to run the 1st Scunthorpe Track League of the season. After a damp start to the day the weather improved for the track to dry out for the evenings racing.
Next week’s league the floodlights will not be available due to the builders isolating the electricity supply. So the racing will be over as soon as the lights fail. The organisers hope to give riders at least 3 races. Racing will start at 7 pm prompt.
