On a warm evening on the coast there were wins for Anders Christensen (Pedal Heaven), Cameron Thompson (Andover Wheelers), Brendan Drewett (Fareham Wheelers) and Alistair Fielding (Peter Hansford Cycles).

The junior race was won by Brendan with help from Aaron Smith (Southdown Velo), the two riders eased of the front of the bunch and worked very hard together to get a lap on the field. The other four riders from Brendan’s Fareham Wheelers team did their best to control the race and once the job was done they retreated into the bunch. Alistair was the first under 14 rider.
The 3rd cat race saw many attacks throughout the race but it eventually all came down to a bunch sprint finish won by Cameron Thompson. Thomas Key (SURC) was second and Dave Harding (JMJ Cycles) finished third. The final race of the evening saw the Pedal Heaven team very active throughout the race. The first big break of the night saw ten riders get a lap on the bunch after about ten minutes.
Once attached two of the ten then went looking for another lap. The two riders were Anders Christensen and Rob McCarthy from Pedal Heaven and Harrison Fielding Peter Hansford Cycles went with them although he was a lap down, so Jay Eastwood (Primera Sport) was third on the road in the bunch. The three worked together to extend a lead and with three laps to go Anders clipped away for the win with Rob taking second. Jay won the bunch sprint.
