Girls
A great night in the Girls events for Leicester Forest Rockets, winning the U8, U10 and U12 races and bonus sprints. In the U14 stage race, a strong TT performance from Lotta Mansfield gave her sufficient buffer over league leader Amelie Wayte to take the overall as well.

In the U16 Girls race, TT winner and league leader April Tacey was involved in a large crash, but picking herself up off the ground and then contesting and winning a sprint for minor placings was enough for her to take the overall win.

In the team league, The MI Racing Academy remain narrowly ahead of Welland Valley CC.

BOYS
Some great racing tonight, marred by a crash bringing down 10 riders in the U14/16 race. Fortunately nobody was seriously injured, just cuts and bruises, although a few sore bodies expected in the morning.

Quick thinking by Josh Giddings who got up, rode to the finish to change a wheel and then continued, saw him clinch the U14 overall after winning the TT stage.

Less lucky were Robert McAndrew, winning the TT stage but unable to finish the scratch race and Louis Perry, looking for his 3rd successive win but ending the night on the ground.

Close racing in the boys U12 race saw Ed Hopkins retain his leaders jersey, a great first ever win for Lewis Tinsley in the U10 boys and George Cooper continuing to dominate the U18’s
