Zappi Juniors will be pursuing a challenging international calendar in 2018 with help from the Saddleback Fred Whitton Challenge

Zappi Juniors have developed a calendar that pits them against Europe’s best in 2018. This ambitious programme is supported by Saddleback Fred Whitton Challenge, who donate proceeds from the internationally-famous sportive to give these riders a chance to show what they can do against Europe’s best. As in previous years, success at this level will likely lead to good career progression at senior level.
The Zappi Junior roster for 2018 includes: Ben Healy, Mason Hollyman, Callum MacLeod, Lewis Hartley, Jamieson Blain, and Tom Couzens. DS: Paul Quarterman and Jerrod Hartley. Fred Whitton Challenge volunteers will also support the team as it races in the UK and Europe.
The team will compete the British Cycling UK National Series as well as a series of junior UCI races in Belgium, France, Netherlands and Italy. The highlights of the year being: Nokere Koerse Danilith Classic, Guido Reybrouck Classic, Ronde les Vallees, 3 Days of Axel, Aubel-Thimister- Stavelot, Tour of Wales, and Trofeo Buffoni. Great races that have provided the platforms of success for many great riders including Merckx, Fondriest, Chiapucci, Argentin and many more.
