News: HJL a New Team Name in 2018
Team HJL are the latest new kids on the block to launch a new race team sponsored by Hampstead Lounge & Jazz Club. The team is owned by Steve Coxshall who formerly rode for CASP. Other sponsors are Liberum Investment Bank, Bowman who provide the bikes and CASP who make the teams kit.
Former professional and world tour rider Malcolm Elliot is a patron of the team. Malcolm has just been appointed as Manager & Director of Sport for UCI pro Team Holdsworth who have put together a very exciting team for next season.
The HJL Race team has a grass route approach mixing old school values with modern day knowledge. Steve Coxshall says “ it’s very exciting times but it’s great to be part of something that is just focused on racing and not a club mentality. We made some great signings and still on the look out for 2 more riders.”
The Teams colours are grey and black and the Team will have a focus on major national events and Nat B races. Riders in the team include Arlen Vartazarian (1st cat from RPR) and Michael Krukov, -ex Lea Valley / CASP
