Nick Cave beats Geoff Platts to win the Leicester Forest CC 25 mile time trial in tough blustery conditions on Saturday

Cave of Lutterworth Cycle Centre RT, and formerly of the promoting club, was fastest with a strong ride of 54m 56s in tough blustery conditions. Coming in second place with a great performance was Geoff Platts of MG Decor Team Carbon Bikes with 55m26s, also taking the top spot for Vets on std, with third place going to Geoff’s teammate Kelvin Southan in 56m07s.

First lady home was Lou Collins of TFN Triathlon club with 1hr04m01s, with Linda Hubbard of Welland Valley CC second in 1hr05m52 and Kathy Platts of MG Decor Team Carbon Bikes in 1hr12m42s.

The team prize went to Jason Feltus, Gareth Pymm and Peter Lavine of Coalville Wheelers. The event was kindly support by Leicester’s own cycle clothing company Velobici, with gift voucher spot prizes being awarded to 5 riders. A big thanks go out to all riders supporting the event, and for all the excellent work by event staff.”
