Women only race was a solo win by Emma Watson. The mens E/1/2/3 saw two long solo breaks, first by the only junior in the race, Ben Wiggins and then by Josh Whitehead. Both were pulled back by concerted chases and it came down to a sprint where Alistair Thomas was a clear winner on the line.
