Jon Simpkins wins the Coventry Road Club Open 10 mile time trial on the K10/10 course on September 29

Mini Report: The race was won by Jon Simpkins of www.drag2zero.com in a time of 20-27 with Simon Harradine of Team Echelon Rotor second in 20-48 and David Kiernan third in 21-13. The host club showed it’s strength in depth with David Watson taking the 40-49 age group with a time of 21-26 which was also good enough for 4th on the day. Backed up by Richard Chamberlain and Peter Keys, they won the team prize by only 3 secs from Rugby RCC and Libby McClaren picked up her first open win with 24-14 for fastest lady on the day
