Although a low start list of (19) riders the quality made up for it. The race All stay together for the first 6 laps the after the first prime won by No.6 John Lacey (Anders TMG Horizon) Dave Farrow (Eagle RC) took off chased down by Barry Neal (Ciclos Uno) and John Lacey (Anders TMG Horizon) together they gained a lead of a minute, which then caused a reaction from the rest of the bunch.
Another group of four rides took up the chase on the three leaders the four being Antony Wallis (PVT) Bob Downs (Glendene CC) Martin Meades (Cilos Uno) and Damien Foy (Eagle RC) they slowly pulled back the time deficits on the three leaders.
With only ten laps to go Antony Wallis (PVT) left his group and proceeded to catch the leading group of three which he did and soon after so did John Lacey (Anders TMG Horizon) so now we had a leading group of five riders but not for long as off the front went Antony Wallis (PVT) soon followed by John Lacey (Anders TMG Horizon) they joined forces to sprint out the finish.
The only prime on offer went to John Lacey (Anders TMG Horizon). It all took place on a very warm sunny October day and an exciting race to watch………Thanks guys
