Weekend Double for Harry Bulstrode who wins the Antelope 2-up 10 mile time trial with Andy Bryson
![]() |
Eamonn Deane reports … Last Year’s winners Harry Bulstrode & Andy Bryson (Peter Hansford Cycles) clocked 21:22 to win the Antelope 2-up 10 in Hampshire. Steven Whitewick & James Gilfillan (Velo Refined) finished 11 seconds adrift in second place, despite leading early on. Poole Wheelers duo Gary Dighton & Paul Jones took third with 22:16.

Whitewick & James were fast if a little ragged, whilst the roadman/testers Bulstrode & Bryson looked comfortable on the wheel, their relay’s slick and smooth. The P140 course starts in the village of Brook and drops down to the turn at Romsey, crossing the river Test, the drag back up to the chequered board deciding the result.
On a cold, grey morning the float days of summer are still some distance up the road. It was a “weekend double†for Bulstrode having won the Sotonia 10 on the same course the previous day with 21:30.
The two events make up the Test Valley Weekend; Bulstrode’s combined times winning him the Chalky White Trophy, embarrassed organiser Martin Napier having to award a substitute as last year’s winner has yet to return the pot!
