Hill Climb News: Crich Memorial Stand Hill Climb

The inaugural South Pennine RC Crich Memorial Stand Hill Climb has attracted a field of 52 riders for the event on Sunday 13th October

The course is 800 yds with the finish at the base of the Stand itself (similar to Monsal but not quite as steep). We have been sponsored by local businesses and some private donations and a substantial proportion of the money will be donated to the upkeep of the Memorial Stand.

We are holding a second event after the main event, for under 12 riders who wish to have a taste for racing with a number on their back and this will commence at the gate and run to the stand on the private road. Any u12s who wish to take part need only turn up on the day and pay a small donation to the Stand. There is a very good prize pot for all categories and the juniors and u12s who finish, will get a medal too.
