Team News: Bonito Squadra Corse Launch

Bonito Squadra Corse, formed in October 2012, are pleased to announce their team for the 2014 season.

The team includes Paralympian Crystal Lane, Fiona Duncan (able-bodied rider who competed in the London 2012 Paralympic Games) and able-bodied tandem pilots Lauryn Therin of Great Britain and Mathilde Matthijsse of Holland who are hoping to ride at the Rio 2016 Paralympics.

Other riders in the team include Gemma Neill whose ambition is to represent Scotland in the 2014 Commonwealth Games, Sarah Short (age group National Time Trial Circuit Champion) and young prospect Ellie Cadzow. In 2014, the team will compete internationally, defending the Tour ta Malta title and in the Irish Ras na mban.

The ladies will also compete nationally in the Women’s Team Series which features the Bedford 3 day stage race and the Bedford Town Centre Criterium which is a support race for the May 2014 Women’s Tour. They will also ride in the Jersey Town Centre Criteriums and compete at National Time Trial events.
