Dolan bikes have been ridden by the very best in the world; Cavendish, Millar, Wiggins, Chris Hoy and many many more. Not only that, Dolan designed components such as their Alpina handlebars along with their frames, grace tracks around the World during World Cups, Six Days and other major competitions.

And whilst Terry Dolan’s bikes are well known in track racing circles, they also have a very healthy pedigree on the road. Their Ares range have been ridden in the worlds top classics and last year Scott Davies finished 7th in the Road Worlds for Juniors. For those looking for a winter bike though, Dolan Bikes have that covered as well.

Until recently, it was only available in Black but they now have several new options in Red and Blue as well Black. Priced from £199 for the frame or £612 for the bike, the Preffisio is certainly an option for the budget conscious. The bike is suitable for commuting, sportives, touring, training and winter riding and has a mudguard option to keep you dry when riding on wet roads.

The Dolan Preffisio is based around a robust 7005 Aluminium Double Butted frame weighing 1.86kg (54cm) with a replaceable rear drop out and available with several types of groupsets from Shimano and SRAM.
