Already getting a lot of attention on Facebook, Raleigh has released a picture of the new kit for 2014 with a firm link to the TI Raleigh days

The new design team has unmistakably got the look of the classic TI-Raleigh kit of the 1970s and 80s with an eye-catching red and black design. The original kit was manufactured by MOA Sport’s founder Claudio Montovani. The Italian manufacturer still makes Raleigh’s kit as well as race and replica kit for a host of other racing teams.
Team Manager Cherie Pridham explained from the teams training camp Pre Tour of Med that they had been trying to keep the kit under wraps but with a major race looming, photos were bound to leak out. “The response has been phenomenal, especially here in France” says Cherie. “We’ve had big crowds seeing us off on our training camp rides and asking for pictures with the riders.”
“I’d like to thank MOA Sport and the design team at Raleigh for such an iconic creation.â€
The team will be in action in their new kit this weekend (13th to 16th Feb) at the Tour of the Mediterranean, which starts in Argeles Sur Mer, France. Following that the team will be officially presented in front of the World media at La Londe-les-Maures on Wednesday 19th February.
Replica kit will be available from Raleigh UK’s website in March 2014. More details to be announced shortly.
