A total of 20 riders started on a very hot and sunny evening. A few attacks took place in the first 15 minutes but came to nothing, until a group of five riders hit the front with a concerted attack which held and they went on to lap the rest of the race. Former pro Geoff Wiles took the sprint from the group of five and Chris Edwards taking the Bunch Sprint a lap down.

With only 25 riders starting, quite a few down on the previous week, the racing was fast and furious although a slow first few laps until Antony Wallis (Ciclos Uno) went on his usual attack but this time no one could go with him because of the fierceness or his attack. He went on to lap the race, the rest of the bunch split into several groups in their attemps to chase down Antony Wallis.
